Help us SHORE UP the HARBOR
We're on a mission keep your favorite little-theater-that-could alive and kicking.
You can lend a hand right here.
You can lend a hand right here.

For 12 incredible seasons we’ve been operating an artist-run experiment in serious fun. Our actors, writers, directors, and designers have doubled as our bookkeepers, carpenters, bartenders, and piano tuners; we poster, we paint, we pick up slack. This holistic approach has taught us so much about our collaborations, our community, and our tolerance for lower back pain. We love what we do and how we do it and we think it shows.

Still, after thirty-six productions, ten staged readings, eight special events, fifteen temporary housing solutions, one global pandemic, and an unstemmed tide of crushing inflation, we’re in need of some reinforcements. Maybe you weren’t expecting the same person who handed you your tickets at the box office this summer to show up onstage five minutes later. Maybe you’d be surprised to learn that our weekly salary is just $20 more than it was when we started working together a decade ago, or that all of our administrative tasks (including pithy fundraising campaigns like this) are handled by our core ensemble members. Like good Cape Codders, we’ve held our ground as the landscape around us has changed, but the plain truth is: if we want to maintain our integrity onstage, we need to increase our resources off. We need to expand our staff and invest in our building, and we need your help to do both.
If you've been wowed or moved or inspired or delighted by the work we share, please consider making a (tax-deductible!) contribution. We’re eager to keep building a system that supports and sustains the artists who support and sustain the Harbor.
