OUR MISSION
is to preserve and promote the legacy of challenging live performance on the Outer Cape.  Our artists double as our administrators to ensure an operation that prioritizes the artistic process.  We do great shows at affordable prices for the right reason.

HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT

In addition to creating the kind of work that critics call "mesmerizing" and our parents  think is "really great, honey",
the Harbor boasts some other unique features:
WE'RE ARTIST RUN

The Harbor stands out as one of the only completely Artist-Run professional theaters in the nation.  Our artists are as likely to be found in the rehearsal room as they are in the box office.  We sweep, we poster, we balance the books- the result is a well-informed and holistically concerned ensemble that measures success in terms of artistic ideals instead of the bottom line.

OUR TICKETS ARE AFFORDABLE

Our $20 tickets and Pay-What-You-Can First Fridays make it possible for everyone on the Cape to experience first-rate live performance on a regular basis.  Our Affordable Ticket Initiative has helped us revitalize the Harbor's audience and share work we believe in with a growing, engaged community.  We're investing in the future of the American theater by bringing theater to more Americans.
