What's behind our AFFORDABLE TICKET INITIATIVE...

WE WANT EXCELLENT THEATER TO BE AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE IN OUR COMMUNITY...  

Why?  Because the free exchange of ideas between people of different circumstances is what inspires growth and change and compassion in a community-- and we could all use more of those. Our tiered admission approach-- along with our Pay-What-You-Can performances-- allows every individual to purchase tickets at a price they can afford. We prefer adventures where everyone's invited.

Attending live theater is a unique experience, but it shouldn't be an uncommon one.  We produce 3 diverse plays each season because we want to share them all with our audience - our Affordable Ticket Initiative has helped us build one of the largest subscriber bases on the Cape and inspires many of our patrons to see productions more than once.  Live theater offers something new every night. We're helping to reinstill theater-going as an intrinsic part of our community members' lives.

...AND THE MORE ACTUALLY IS THE MERRIER. 

Attending a sold-out show is special.  An audience's size affects its energy level, participation, and overall enjoyment of a live performance. Packed houses improve everyone's experience-- plus we're in this to share our work, not to commoditize it.  And for a little theater based on a peninsula with tons of entertainment options, it's plain good business. Every patron we bring in-- or back-- is a potential ambassador for the Harbor and its expansive aesthetic.
