Announcing Our 2023 Season - The Plays

BREAD & BUTTER
loosely adapted from George S. Kaufman
There's no business like show business, like no business-- we know.  Loosely, lovingly adapted from George S. Kaufman's The Butter & Egg Man, this loopy romp tells the story of a ruthless producer and the well-meaning rube he finds to fund his next big show.  A screwball comedy about Broadway dreams, backstage drama, and what it really costs to make a splash.
Jun 15 - July 8
THURS-SAT at 7:30pm
SUN at 5:00pm
Additional Show Wed. July 5 at 7:30
Pay What You Can -Fri, Jun 23
LIV AT SEA
a world premiere by Robert Kropf
Liv's doing just fine-- a steady job, a solid partner, a typical life in the city.  But when sparks fly during a chance encounter with a stranger, she's left wondering how to feed a flame without burning everything else to the ground.  A world premiere love story about open hearts, broken promises, and the choice of a lifetime.
July 13 - Aug 5
THURS-SAT at 7:30pm
SUN at 5:00pm
Additional Show Wed. Aug 2 at 7:30

THE THIN PLACE
a haunting drama by Lucas Hnath
If you could speak to the dead, what would you say? What would you want them to say to you? In this hypnotic mystery, a disarming psychic leads a grieving client through a journey marked by conjuring, connection, and hope.  An intimate drama about trust, truth, and how we treat each other-- in this world and the next.

And coming in the fall...

BETRAYAL
a modern classic by Harold Pinter
a co-production with Wellfleet Harbor Actor's Theater

Emma and Robert are married. Robert and Jerry are best friends. Jerry and Emma are... in trouble. The classic love triangle gets turned on its head in Pinter's searing drama. A brilliant, breathtaking look at fidelity, friendship, and the start of something real.
